Ge\u00e7mi\u015fi yakla\u015f\u0131k 3 bin y\u0131l \u00f6ncesine dayanan Kayak\u00f6y m\u00fcbadele d\u00f6neminde terk edildi. Rumlar\u0131n k\u00f6y\u00fc terk etmesinin ard\u0131ndan T\u00fcrklerin bir d\u00f6nem ya\u015fad\u0131\u011f\u0131 ve 1957 y\u0131l\u0131ndaki Fethiye depreminin ard\u0131ndan bir daha ya\u015fam alan\u0131na d\u00f6n\u00fc\u015femeyen k\u00f6y, Hayalet K\u00f6y olarak an\u0131lmaya ba\u015flarken, \u00f6ren yeri olarak yerli ve yabanc\u0131 turistlerin ilgisini \u00e7ekiyor. 2023 y\u0131l\u0131nda 100 bin 13 ki\u015finin ziyaret etti\u011fi Kayak\u00f6y \u00e7at\u0131s\u0131 ve penceresi olmayan ta\u015f evleri, \u0131ss\u0131z ve dar sokaklar\u0131 ile tarihin kalbinde atmaya devam ediyor.
